Who we are

Foreseez ("Foreseez", "we", "us") is run by Foreseez Technologies Inc., [TBD: registered address]. This policy covers the Foreseez app at app.foreseez.com.

Foreseez shows information about prediction markets listed on Polymarket and Kalshi. It is not a trading venue. You can create an optional account with Google, with X, or with an email address and password.

What we collect

Request data. When your browser loads a page, our hosting provider, Vercel, receives the standard technical details that come with any web request:

• your IP address
• the page address you asked for
• your browser and device type (the "user agent")
• the page that linked you here, if your browser sends it
• the date and time of the request

We use this to deliver pages, keep the service secure and running, and fix problems.

Searches. When you search, your search text becomes part of the page address, so it shows up in the request data above. Our servers then send the search text to our database provider to find matching events. We don't link searches to your identity. Please don't type personal information into the search box.

Account data. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and a Google account ID with us. If you sign in with X, X shares your name, username, avatar, email address, and an X account ID with us. X may omit the email address. If you create an account with email, we store your email address, and Supabase stores a hash of your password. We never see the password itself. We store these with the date you joined and when you last signed in. We use them only to run your account. Accounts don't unlock any features yet, and we don't post anything or contact anyone on your behalf.

What we don't collect. We don't collect your phone number, payment details, precise location, or contacts. We never see your Google password, your X password, or your Foreseez password.

Cookies and similar technologies

If you don't sign in, the app doesn't set cookies and doesn't write to your browser's local or session storage. If you sign in, it sets a session cookie for app.foreseez.com that keeps you signed in until you sign out, plus a short-lived cookie while sign-in is in progress. These cookies are strictly necessary for the account and aren't used for tracking. The app loads Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (cookieless, aggregate page views and performance metrics such as page path, referrer, approximate country, and device or browser type; no cross-site tracking). It still doesn't load advertising or social media scripts.

Fonts and event images are served from our own domain. Loading a page doesn't make your browser contact Google Fonts, Polymarket's image servers, or any other third party. Your Google or X profile picture is also served through our domain. Choosing "Continue with Google" sends your browser to Google. Choosing "Continue with X" sends your browser to X. Signing in or creating an account with email sends your email address, and your password when you enter one, from your browser to Supabase. Foreseez servers do not receive your password.

If we add cookies or other analytics, we'll update this policy first.

How we use information

We use the information above only to:

• show you the pages you ask for
• keep the service secure and protect it from abuse
• find and fix errors
• understand overall load so the site stays fast

We don't use it to build profiles of you, target advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Foreseez. They handle data only on our behalf:

• Vercel, Inc. hosts the app, delivers its pages, and provides the cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights described above. It processes the request data described above.
• Supabase hosts our database of public market data and runs account sign-in. It receives search text from our servers, not directly from your browser, and stores the account data described above.
• Google handles sign-in when you choose "Continue with Google". Google's own privacy policy covers what it does when you sign in there.
• X handles sign-in when you choose "Continue with X". X shares your name, username, avatar, and email address. X's own privacy policy covers what it does when you sign in there.

Sharing and selling

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with the service providers above, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Foreseez and its users. [TBD: business-transfer clause — confirm whether to include]

Links to Polymarket and Kalshi

Event pages link to the matching page on Polymarket or Kalshi. These links open in a new tab, and we tell your browser not to send those sites the address of the Foreseez page you came from. Once you're on another site, its own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep data

Our hosting provider keeps request logs for [TBD: log retention period] and then deletes them. To keep the site fast, search results may be cached for up to one minute. Cached results aren't linked to you. We keep account data until you delete your account from the account page, or ask us to delete it.

Where data is processed

Our providers may process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate. [TBD: confirm Vercel function region and Supabase project region]

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or Canada's PIPEDA may give you the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to how it's used.

You can see your account data on your account page, and you can delete the account there yourself. To get a copy or correct it, email us from the address on the account. We usually can't connect request logs to a specific person, but we'll still answer every request and help where we can. To make one, email hello@foreseez.com. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Foreseez isn't directed to children under [TBD: minimum age], and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

The app is served only over HTTPS. We limit who can access our systems and use reasonable safeguards for the small amount of data we handle. No online service can be perfectly secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we'll also say so on this page.
